Bailey has learned all of his animal sounds! He has got most of his body parts down and we are now working on colors and numbers. The only problem is that when he is in front of people he won't do his animal sounds. He gets shy and just giggles. I put him in the shower with Paul and he was making all the sounds so I grabbed the camera. Weird I know that it is my husband in the shower but you can't see anything and the video is sideways because I cannot get it to rotate. So funny though!

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly- Please Pray for Us!

Well, today is our 4 year anniversary. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful husband and for that I am so thankful. He definitely was there for me today when I needed him. We went to the doctor today for my sugar test and our big 18 week sonogram where you check all the major organs. The Good - I passed my sugar test!!! I was so excited. They are going to test me again though at 26 weeks since I had gestational diabetes with Bailey. The bad - When we had our sonogram, they found that Garrett has a choroid plexus cyst on each side of his brain. Ok I know you are wondering what the heck that is. It scared me to death at first and the ugly was my face because I cried all day long. Usually with these cysts, there is a 99% chance they will disappear by 28-32 weeks if they are isolated and nothing else is seen. Everything else looked good on the sonogram so my doctor feels sure they will be gone later in the pregnancy. The scary thing is that there is a 1% chance that it could be a chromosomal abnormality and mostly Trisomy 18 and 21 are associated with this. That is why I cried all day. I know that seems selfish because there could be so many more things wrong and God has already blessed us with one healthy child, but it was just the shock of the news. I will have another sonogram in 7 weeks to re-evaluate and if they have not shrunk, we will be referred to a neurologist. Paul and I are asking for your prayers everyday for baby Garrett. This is very scary for me even though 99% chance of it going away is a very positive thing. I also ask that you pray for strength for me not to worry for the next 7 weeks. It is just easier said than done not to worry when you are carrying a precious life. Paul is very encouraging and positive about the whole thing, and he is keeping me up! Uh Oh

Busted! Me that is. Bailey loves sitting at the edge of the ocean and playing in the sand while the water runs over him (his feet and legs that is). Well, as I am catching this Kodak moment on video, apparently a larger wave came in and as you can see and knocks him over. I about threw my camera in the water trying to get him up as you can see on the video. Thank goodness Paul was standing there or I would have had to ditch the camera in the ocean to get him and would not be able to laugh at myself as I watch this video.

The Beach!!!

As you can see, Bailey is having a blast at the beach. He was iffy about the ocean at first but then would not get out! He loves the sand as well and has eaten lots of it! :)

It is official!!!

Paul graduated from PT school and is now Dr. Paul Kosko, DPT. It has been a long three years and he will be at UMC for the next year doing a sports certification residency. We are very excited!!! Congrats to Katie too! She will be living two doors down from us and working at Beyond Play! Can't wait for her to officially be our neighbor!

Bloody and Almost Broken in the same week!

My wild man had his first blood nose and busted lip from falling in the nursery at church last Sunday. Then he fell off of our bed this week and hit the bridge of his nose on the recliner. I just knew he had broken it! He cut his nose pretty good but no other injuries thank goodness. He is 100% ALL BOY!!!

It's another BOY!!!

That's right! We are definitely having another boy. I was actually in the hospital at 13 weeks because I was so sick and they did a sonogram then. It looked like a boy then but we were not 100% sure. I had a friend do another sonogram yesterday and it is for sure another boy! 3 men and mom around the Kosko house - SCARY!!! We are very excited and Bailey is ready to have a little brother to play with! There will be lots of testosterone around my house so girls night out will be a must every now and then! Please continue to pray for this child that it would be healthy! Oh yeah - his name will be Garrett Alexander Kosko and we will call him Garrett. Garrett is my grandmother's maiden name (the one that passed away in March) and Alexander is Paul's middle name.

Addison's 2nd Bday Party!

Bailey had so much fun at the party jumping and playing on the slide! Happy Birthday Addison! Thanks for inviting us!

First time in my baby pool this year!

Bailey loves the water but as you can see, he also loves his "pappy" that seems to stay in his mouth. We are currently working on that :)
